Mountain biking in Cumberland

Cumberland is such a unique place. I’ve had a lot of fun riding there with friends and my son.

It really is a riding Mecca….there are so many trails, for every level rider, easy to access, fun to ride, huge variety…you can climb and climb and seriously challenge your limits or ride the fun easier to access trails with tight turns, rocks, roots or try some gap jumps!

My first couple of times there I hired Martin from Island Mountain Rides to take us out. Because there are so many trails I really wanted to get the most out of my time with someone who knows and has built many of the trails. I find so many trails a little overwhelming because I don’t know which are best suited to my skill level. I had the best time!

I hope Cumberland stays small and friendly. I think it’s a hidden gem.
